The Shutout

Shown at left is Daniel A. Moore’s rough thumbnail sketch for The Shutout, in which he has developed a stand-alone classic composition for an original oil painting.   

NOTE: We will post the artist’s more detailed preliminary pencil drawing for The Shutout upon completion. The Shutout will also form the lower portion of the larger and more encompassing painting, Restoring the Order.

Mr. Moore will complete The Shutout portion of the painting first, then move on to paint the upper portion of his canvas.  Immediately upon completion of The Shutout painting, it will be published and released as Limited Edition Fine Art Canvases and Giclée Prints.

Special pricing is available on The Shutout when purchased in conjunction with Restoring the Order Fine Art Lithographs!  All editions will be personally signed and numbered by the artist.  Each edition will be strictly limited based upon the number of giclée prints and canvases ordered before the release date (to be announced.)

Alabama’s dominating victory over previously #1-ranked LSU in the 2012 BCS Championship Game was named by the United States Sports Academy as winner of the 2011 College Football Game of the Year Award^®.  Since 2006, Daniel A. Moore has created the official artwork that commemorates the winning game as part of the Award.

Each giclée print will be accompanied by the official College Football Game of the Year Award® gold-embossed medallion.  The Certificates of Limited Edition for the Canvas Editions will be embossed in gold with this medallion design.
