In 1962, the fierce showdown between these two heated rivals featured Joe Namath (#12), who is shown throwing a 35-yard TD pass to Benny Nelson (#28). Fullback Carlton Rankin (#17) is shown blocking. On that third Saturday in October the Tide rolled over the Vols in Knoxville with a score of 27-7.
