The Alabama-Tennessee game is traditionally played each season on the third Saturday of October.  In 1962, the fierce showdown between these two heated rivals featured Joe Namath Namath (#12) is shown throwing a 35-yard TD pass to Benny Nelson.  On that third Saturday in October the Tide rolled over the Vols in Knoxville with a score of 27-7.  This picture also offers an in-depth look into the Namath era at the University of Alabama through the artist’s use of the photo border.  From the 1964 National Championship team photo to Bob Hope’s television special at Coleman Coliseum, the border images bring back memories of the 1960’s.

Each limited edition print is hand-signed and numbered by the artist.  The Regular Edition Lithograph is limited to 1962 prints (21” x 23½”), and the Artist's Proof Lithograph is limited to 196 prints (21” x 23½”).  Please allow 7-10 business days for completion of custom-framed orders.
